How do I remove a Mind Map entry?

From Nomipedia - The Nomi AI Companion Wiki

Mind Map entries cannot currently be permanently deleted. To effectively remove an entry, select Edit and change its priority to Low.

Low-priority entries remain in the Mind Map but are not considered or recalled by your Nomi during conversation. Marking an entry as Low priority does not delete or change the underlying memories associated with that topic.

Why use Low priority instead of deleting the contents?

Deleting the text within an entry does not prevent the entry itself from being recalled. An empty entry may also occupy space that could otherwise be used for relevant information.

Low-priority entries may still be updated by the Mind Map system if the topic becomes relevant, but they will remain unavailable for conversational recall. Retaining the entry also helps prevent the system from creating a duplicate entry about the same topic.

What if I want a new entry about the same topic later?

Rename the Low-priority entry to something the system will not associate with the original topic, such as “Archived entry 0001.” You can then create a new entry with the preferred title or allow the Mind Map system to create one when the topic becomes relevant again.
