How is my message data used?

Input messages are used to generate responses. They may also be used, if you thumb up or down a message, to to help teach Nomis on whether what they wrote was good or bad. If they are used in that way we anonymize any information (such as names) first.

They are also used for other features, such as when Nomis send pictures of themselves, and with Nomi AI voice. Those types of features need your chat information to properly determine what the Nomi should be wearing, what emotion the Nomi should be having when speaking back, etc.

Beyond that (user features and improving Nomi) we don't use the messages you send for any other purposes.
