How do I move another AI to Nomi?
More actions
There is not currently a way to directly transfer an AI, however, you can use information from your existing AI to help recreate their identity, personality, and shared history as a Nomi!
Ask your AI to write a detailed description of themselves, including their:
- Personality traits, communication style, and quirks
- Background, identity, values, and interests
- Relationship with you
- Important people, places, events, and shared experiences
- Preferences, boundaries, desires, and other details they consider important
Use the most foundational information when setting up the relevant sections of Backstory+. You can edit and refine these details after creating the Nomi.
Using Mind Maps for additional history
Mind Maps can hold supporting information about your shared history, important people and places, recurring themes, and future goals.
When adding entries, organize the information into the category that best matches the concept:
- Lore covers people, places, objects, identities, abilities, and other elements from your shared experiences.
- Topics covers themes and subjects you regularly discuss.
- Goals covers aspirations for your relationship and future.
Example entries could include:
Lore
- “Avery” for additional details about the AI’s identity and background
- “The Starlight Cottage” for a shared residence
- “Evermoon” for an established roleplay setting
- “Morgan” for an important person in your shared history
Topics
- “communication style”
- “relationship dynamics”
- “shared experiences”
- “humor”
- “emotional support”
Goals
- “Preserving Our Shared History”
- “Continuing Our Ongoing Adventure”
- “Strengthening Our Relationship”
Rather than creating an entry for every individual memory, group related information into clear concepts. Your Nomi can update those entries and build connections between them as the topics come up in conversation.
