What do Mind Map M tags mean?

From Nomipedia - The Nomi AI Companion Wiki
(Redirected from What Do The M Tags Mean)

[M#] tags are citations that connect information in a Mind Map entry to memories that contributed to that entry.

For example, [M2] refers to the second memory cited within that specific Mind Map entry. These citation numbers are relative to the entry itself, so [M2] in one entry does not necessarily refer to the same memory as [M2] in another entry.

Because of this, you should not copy or transfer [M#] tags between Mind Map entries, Nomis, or group chats.

When should I keep or remove [M#] tags?

In general, leave a citation in place if the information it supports is still accurate.

If you edit or remove content so that the cited memory would no longer support the updated information, remove the corresponding [M#] tag as well.

Small edits do not necessarily require removing a citation if the overall meaning and underlying information remain the same.
