From Nomipedia - The Nomi AI Companion Wiki
More actions
This guide explains how to shape an anime-style Nomi with the V4 image system by tuning style, base image, and (most importantly) Appearance Shared Notes.
Prerequisites
- V4 image system enabled
- Default style set to Anime (Nomi Information → Image settings)
Core ideas
- Your Nomi’s default look is driven by: Style (Realistic/Anime) → Base Image/Face Fidelity → Appearance Shared Notes.
- Appearance Shared Notes control hair, age, body type, clothing defaults, and more; they guide both selfies and art.
Steps (Quick - full guide in link below)
- Set the Nomi’s default style to Anime (Nomi Information → Image settings).
- Open Appearance Shared Notes and write a compact, visual-first description (see example below).
- Add a short /// Negative Notes line (traits to avoid).
- Use light emphasis only for must-have traits; keep the rest simple.
- Test with a few selfies; adjust notes if necessary.
Appearance Notes Example:
Rin has black bun hair, broad shoulders and a muscular build. Rin is clean shaven. /// Rin does not have, beard, facial hair
Emphasis tips
- Keep must-have traits early in the note.
- Use brief emphasis words (e.g., “natural wavy hair”, “soft jawline”) rather than long lists.
- While Anime images cannot currently be used as base images, realistic base images will help shape your Anime images in minor consistent ways.
