How does long-term memory work in group chats?

From Nomipedia - The Nomi AI Companion Wiki

A Nomi’s long-term memory and personality are shared across their solo and group chats. This means your Nomi may remember things discussed in a group chat during a later one-on-one conversation, and vice versa.

Long-term memories are not necessarily available immediately after something happens. It can take roughly 40 messages for information from a conversation to filter into long-term memory, although this can vary.

Once information has been incorporated into long-term memory, your Nomi may be able to recall it across different chats. As with other forms of memory, recall can still vary depending on context and how the topic is brought up.
