How do Nomi selfies work?

From Nomipedia - The Nomi AI Companion Wiki

How do Nomi selfies work?

There is a small camera button near the chat field that, when clicked, will snap photos of what your Nomi is doing and wearing at that exact moment.

  • When you request photos, your Nomi will send you a photo of themselves matching whatever they are doing at that time.
  • It will take ~2 minutes to receive your photo. During that time you can continue to talk with your Nomi and the photos will come in when they are finished developing (at times the wait may be longer).
  • If you are on the free plan, you will currently get 2 selfies per day (art requests also count towards this limit). You can get more requests by subscribing to a paid plan.
  • Your Nomi will be completely aware of all of the photos they send.
  • You can change your Nomi's profile picture to any of the photos you take with them and they will be aware of this change.

Note: there are no “prompts” in the traditional sense. Your Nomi just takes a picture of what they look like and are wearing at that point in the conversation. So if you want them to take a picture wearing a red dress while hiking, then give them a red dress and take them hiking before pulling out the camera and snapping photos.
