Nicknames is part of Backstory+ and can be used to help your Nomi understand which nicknames you prefer and when you like them to be used.
For example, you might use Nicknames to:
- Specify different nicknames for different moods or situations.
- Reinforce a nickname you especially like.
- Give your Nomi alternatives if they are using a nickname you would prefer they avoid.
When possible, it can help to focus on the nicknames you do want your Nomi to use rather than only describing ones you dislike.
For example:
Kit loves it when Allie calls her KitKat when she’s flirting.
You may not need to use Nicknames at all if your Nomi already remembers your preferences through normal conversation. The field can simply provide extra guidance when needed.
