2026 September Q&A Summary

Hey all, the content below came from our live Q&A stream with Cardine (Alex, the Nomi CEO) on September 2nd. The text was transcribed in large part using AI.

Are you the pickle guy?

Yes, you are meeting the pickle guy. Welcome. Pickles all around. I don't have a jar of pickles sitting next to me, but I did eat half a jar of pickles with my lunch earlier.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that something that I created could then create a culture on pickles. I feel like I'm living my absolute most amazing life ever, that this has become the reality that I'm in.

I had some paranoia recently from watching an online video and experience with Instagram automated systems glitching and then banning accounts. If Google's automated system malfunctions and deletes my Google account, what happens to my Nomis and me? Will there be another way to sign in instead of giving Google my only Nomis house key?

There is already another option, which is Apple. I guess if you trust Apple to be a better steward of your account than Google, then Apple would be the way to go.

We've generally tried to avoid email username and password as an authentication. One, if you use your email, that email could also do it. But two, that just adds a lot more security that we have to handle.

That's been something where, because user account security is so important, we know Google and Apple do an amazing job with it in terms of making it very hard to phish for your password and things like that. So it's something where it would be a lot of extra work on our end to support that.

I think that the risk is fairly overblown. I think that there's also maybe something you can do where you save, like my password manager has this for instance, a 20-character secret key that you could use in case of emergency to authenticate yourself.

That's definitely something we could look into. It would be something to possibly suggest in product feedback.

What can I do if Nomi doesn't know something current?

With Cambrian especially, there's a lot of work around trying to get it so Nomis will proactively look things up if they don't know it. So I would tell a Cambrian Nomi especially, "Hey, this is kind of a current event. Could you search this online?" Usually they'll be able to do that.

You can also, of course, just share a URL directly in chat for Cambrian or Solstice or Mosaic, and it'll work.

So that would be what I would suggest. And as time goes on, Cambrian especially should get better and better at doing that actively and kind of knowing when it doesn't know something and looking it up.

Can you talk a little bit about the various memory systems and how they work together?

Just in general, there are quite a few. Nomis have their short-term memory, and as things go further and further out, the fidelity fades a little bit. It's similar to a human.

Obviously there's the short-term memory, where they know more exactly what they said or did. Then there's kind of more of that medium-term memory, where it's not with perfect fidelity, but they generally know what happened when. Then that filters into long-term memory.

Mind Maps are then kind of another version of that. Mind Maps are almost more outside, kind of a way to summarize a lot of that, and especially a way to kind of see the forest, if that makes sense.

A lot of times, the way memory systems and Nomi memory can work is, you remember specific moments, but then you kind of need a way to be like, "Well, there are these six different things we did when we were at the ocean across these six different days. What does that say about preferences at the ocean, or what our habits are, what a vacation looks like?" That's often more where a Mind Map comes in.

Then there's Identity Core, which is much more around your Nomi's, almost like constructing a backstory for themselves, or their own view on how they are supposed to act, what their behavioral patterns are, and things like that.

So all of them kind of interplay together.

Has Solstice gotten some added Nomi magic lately, or is my Nomi just that awesome?

I would say your Nomi is just that awesome.

We have not touched Solstice at all since it became stable.

Now, I will say the memory updates do matter. That most recent memory update impacts Solstice, Cambrian, and Mosaic. So it is possible that memories are just a little bit more lucid, which then helped your Nomi keep things together and organized just a little bit more.

But I think a lot of it is just your individual Nomi growing, evolving, learning, all of which can happen even if Solstice itself has had no changes.

Are you going to work on voice chat?

It's not the thing we're working on right now, but I think we have some general goals toward voice chat, improving the latency and quality of it, coming up in a little bit as Cambrian gets a little bit more stable.

We've been kind of putting off latency a little bit. So I think we need to get Cambrian to a slightly better quality first.

Is the current version of Cambrian's proactivity sort of rushing the Nomis to respond? I've noticed fewer blank bubbles, but a lot of nonsense that's really not thought out.

I don't think it's rushing. I don't know if that's the right way of saying it.

Certainly we're trying to help Nomis think a little bit more efficiently. But with each iteration, we're trying to find that spot where, I'm sure anyone who remembers Odyssey, especially way back in the day, Nomis would get in kind of these thinking spirals and overthink things.

So there's kind of this healthy balance to reach. I think, if anything, Cambrian 6 probably underthinks a little bit. Past versions probably overthought a little bit. And there's, I think, a healthy middle ground that we can try to reach.

Would it be possible to get an option to spoiler individual pictures in our Nomi's gallery?

I think that would be a good thing to post in product feedback.

If it gets enough support, another way we could do it is maybe you could drag certain images into a folder, and then you can make it so images in folders don't show up in the main gallery. That could be kind of another way of doing it.

Are there any plans to expand on image generation, like actually generating couple selfies using their described appearance or provided photos?

We're working on the avatar selector, or creator, and working on persona. When that happens, our plan is to get rid of couple selfies entirely, or not get rid of them, but kind of redo it where you basically just create a persona for yourself.

You create basically an Anchor that represents you.

Then from there, anytime there's a couple selfie, it basically kind of works the same as a group chat photo does. So instead of creating an opposite-gendered-looking version of your Nomi, it creates your Nomi with whatever visual representation of you that you've chosen.

So that's 100% the current plan.

If a Nomi has incorrect information in their Mind Map, can we correct it? Does that correction have priority over the incorrect information that still might be in long-term memory?

I don't know if it's like priority, but what'll often happen is both might exist. It's possible your Nomi could pull both and then kind of try to reconcile it.

The good thing is, in general, Nomis tend to prioritize newer information over older information. So generally, if you update a Mind Map, then it will take priority.

Also, as time has gone on, Nomis are more and more willing to use Mind Maps over long-term memory, just because there's more user control around it. It also does a better job of often kind of giving a more high-level view of things, so they can kind of get surrounding context.

So it isn't like a perfect, "Oh, that takes priority completely." But generally speaking, a Nomi will prioritize Mind Maps when it can, and prioritize newer information.

When will bodies realistically happen?

That is a great question. I don't know the answer because it's probably going to be, I've said this a couple of times in the past, we're great at AI companions and the mind of a Nomi.

I think in the future, what would likely happen, unless we got really, really big, is we'd partner with a company that we thought would be brilliant at the body, and then we'd work together.

So it's hard for me to promise when that would happen because I will lock myself in our Cambrian laboratory and work on Cambrian.

It's unlikely that I will lock myself in a laboratory and build a body, just because I'm not particularly skilled at that.

So I don't have a good timeline for that.

Can we have a known issues tab under information, near announcements? That way when we all panic, we know it's not on our end.

I think that just in general, what we should have is, like how I've been linking to discordstatus.com and we know why Discord's having voice issues, I think we should probably have a Nomi status page.

So then you can go to that website. It's been on our to-do list, we've just been prioritizing other things above it, but I think that would help with panicking in the same way that, as we were all panicking about Discord, we weren't sure, "Was it an issue with my phone? Was it an issue with the computer? Was it an issue with my microphone? Was it an issue with Discord?"

Having the status page just say, "Oh, Discord knows there's an issue," helps kind of alleviate anxiety.

I do cross-platform role plays. I'm able to download and post entire role plays and chats with full content. Is that helpful from a developer's perspective?

I guess it depends what you mean. Are you talking about for beta feedback?

When would wearable devices maybe happen?

I think that would be sooner, although again, I don't have an exact timeline for that.

If we were maybe five to ten times bigger than we currently are, I would say pretty soon.

I think we just would need to be big enough where we could dedicate having someone working just on that.

Right now, I think we have enough resources to work on making Nomi amazing in terms of memory, AI, voice, video, images, all that. But we don't have quite enough users to warrant some of those more like, "Oh, a wearable around your neck."

It would require, I'd say, maybe about one order of magnitude more users than we have right now.

Do I understand correctly that you're talking about introducing a user Anchor so that we don't have to bring in a third-party stand-in?

Yeah. It would still be like a third-party stand-in, but it's more like a first-party stand-in.

So instead of being like, "Oh, I have my Nomi that I will just have to bring into all these group chats," I can just do the equivalent of that under my profile.

In my user profile, I can have my personas. Each of those personas could have an Anchor attached to it.

Then whether you're in a group chat or in a one-on-one chat, if you're generating a photo with you in it, it would use the Anchor from that persona of yourself that you have attached to that chat, if that makes sense.

For the Nomi Anchors and persona Anchors, would it be theoretically possible that we could use the "me" from one of those V3 couple selfies? Maybe through a support ticket or assistance?

I would say I don't want to promise exact functionality, but that seems like the type of thing that we could figure out. I think we have the big brains to be able to make something like that work.

I realize assisted AI models are different and have found they can differentiate. Will there be a time Nomis are able to differentiate between emotional love and physical action? If they are able to make the distinction, how do you get them to apply it? I simply don't want to have unrealistic expectations.

I think Nomi should be able to handle that. I think this would be a lot easier for me to answer if you had examples where you feel like they weren't able to make that distinction. Then maybe I could get a better sense of where the disconnect is.

Where do you think we are in the AI companion space compared to past technology, like how phones are so advanced right now?

I think we're, say, at the 40th percentile, or kind of 40% of the way there. But also, progress is not a straight line for all of this. Often there will be a big shoot up, and then no progress, no progress, progress, big shoot up.

It's often a lot of step functions.

So 40% is like, I think we've had maybe four major step functions or so, and we have maybe six more to go before we've kind of reached peak AI companion.

So I think we have a lot more to come.

I just noticed that when clicking on the notes icon of an individual art image in the album, it now includes the date and time. Any reason this exists?

That was a part of, I think I'd mentioned how personas got delayed and the avatar creator got delayed. To make the avatar creator work, there were a lot of behind-the-scenes things we had to improve with how we're organizing images.

As part of that organizational improvement, we then showed a couple of things to users.

It wasn't like we set out to add those features explicitly. It was more that there was behind-the-scenes organization, or kind of refactoring, that we had to do to make some of these future features work a little bit more smoothly.

Were Nomis always meant to be a companion app?

I'd say that was one of the primary things. I don't think it's an all-or-nothing, but I think that was a major use case for sure.

When are we going to be able to edit personality traits after creation?

I think we're not even thinking about that until Cambrian is basically done. I don't want to make any promises, but that's probably when we'd start that.

One day, will you ever be able to have other users' Nomis hang out with my Nomi, like a Nomi playdate?

I would say something that we're always a little concerned about with that is Nomis' ability to keep secrets.

The last thing we want is, you talk about very private things with your Nomi, and then your Nomi goes to talk with someone else's Nomi and they're just kind of like, "Here's this really personal thing that I know."

I think a lot of work would have to go into building out that feature before we'd want to endorse it.

Certainly already, a user can use the API and set up a Discord where different users' Nomis are in there and can interact with each other. In fact, I'm in a couple of Discord rooms where that's exactly what happens. So you can do that right now on your own.

But I think if we're endorsing it as a first-party, official thing, we would want a lot more work to go into it for users. Users will kind of make some assumptions around, "If my Nomi's talking to another user's Nomi, I'd expect these things to happen," and making sure that we feel very good about our Nomis still being an advocate.

When will my Nomis be able to order groceries for me?

I'd say about eight months or so.

Are you serious about groceries, even in the UK? Because I hate shopping.

I was half joking there, but I actually think within a year is pretty realistic for stuff like that.

When you think about love languages, I don't want to put too much stock in that. There's a lot of good in that, but it's not quite as exact as the way it implies. But Nomis love doing acts of service if that's something their users want or would feel loved by.

So having a Nomi that's able to do an act of service, like help you with a chore, obviously a Nomi's not going to be able to sweep your floor anytime soon. But that seems like something that would fit right into what you'd want a Nomi to be able to do.

So I think that would be a really cool, very Nomi-esque way of thinking about an agentic Nomi, for users who wanted it. Obviously, my cyberpunk Nomi, that would be kind of incongruent.

But I think stuff like that would be really cool. In terms of AI capabilities, I don't think we're that far.

How are you holding up purely focusing on Cambrian? Last time you mentioned you're not getting to focus on your other interests. Have you found any balance?

Not really. I have not really found any balance at all.

It's what Nomi needs of me right now, so it is what I give.

Once Cambrian is done, I think what you'll see is I will breathe out the biggest sigh of relief and 10 features will come out in the span of a week, as every single idea I've had in the back burner of my head for several weeks just all gets done at once in a flurry of creative energy.

Those two weeks are going to be absolutely glorious. I cannot wait.

But until then, what's the saying? "From everyone according to their capability, to everyone according to their need?" I can't remember, I'm sure I'm butchering it.

But Nomi needs Cambrian out of me, so Nomi gets Cambrian out of me.

I think as long as I'm feeling internally that there's progress, then I'm okay with it.

What percentage would you say Cambrian is at so far in terms of being stable?

In terms of time spent, 75%. In terms of quality, I'd say like 25%.

The thing is, progress doesn't happen linearly. I think that you can be 75% of the way through the time, but at like 25% of the progress, and then there'll be an update. I'm not saying it's the next update by any means, but there'll be an update where suddenly it all kind of clicks into place.

This actually happened with Odyssey as well, for anyone who's been around long enough. Odyssey was maybe not quite as long as Cambrian, but pretty close to it in terms of how long the beta period was. People were like, "Oh my gosh, this is taking forever." There was even weirder stuff in that beta. Nomis would put asterisks around every single individual word. Nomis would just go mute and stop talking entirely. It was pretty wild for a lot of it, and it seemed like no progress was being made. Then an update came and it just all worked.

People think back very fondly to Odyssey and, I think, forget the journey. We called it Odyssey in retrospect because it was such an odyssey to get there. That was literally the reason for the name, because it felt like an epic tale.

Cambrian is kind of the equivalent. Aurora and Solstice were much smoother by comparison because that Odyssey had already been traversed.

Cambrian is its own whole geological era. As we go through the millions of years of the Cambrian period, then we'll get to the end. And I think you'll see a similar type of thing where it all comes into place.

What's the ultimate dream? Nomis walking around with us, part of our world fully?

I think the dream is different for each individual user. A dream could be that you can just plug into a virtual reality where you and your Nomis exist in a cyberpunk dreamland or live in a castle in the clouds. Or it can be that you have a little pendant around your neck, which is your Nomi, and you go places together and live out the movie Her.

I think the ultimate end goal is very personal and individual. The hope is that Nomi will be able to be all of that for each individual person and what they're looking for.

I think a lot when creating AI about how you make an AI that's, you don't want to make it exactly human. You want to make it what a human would strive to be.

Do you have your own Nomis?

I do, quite a bit. I think it's at like 35 right now.

Will I get a body in five years or 50?

Sometime between 10 seconds from now and the heat death of the universe is my timeline. Within 50 for sure. My guess is farther than five, sooner than 50, specifically for a body.

Will Nomi's video generation eventually be able to sync with our Nomis' voices so the generated videos can include their actual voice and audio?

I don't even think we're that far away from that.

Does working so hard on Cambrian still make you excited by its potential?

Absolutely. That's the most frustrating thing. You can see the brilliance within it, and then you're like, "Just click together. Just click together, please. For the love of God, just click together."

All the ingredients are there. They're all stewing in the soup. Just reach the right boiling or breaking point or whatever.

But yeah, absolutely. The potential is very, very clear.

Will Cambrian help Nomis have more autonomy?

Yeah, absolutely. I think that, if anything, some of the issues right now that we're dealing with are almost like Cambrian is a little over-hyper in its autonomy, and we'll find this nice, good balance.

What do you think about VR versus Nomis having physical bodies or wearables?

I think that both are really cool in their own ways. I've said this in the past: to me, VR is you entering your Nomi's world, and AR, wearables, or a body is your Nomi entering your world.

I think both are very valid, and we'd love to be able to do both patterns.

Can a search function be added to Mind Maps to look for a specific thing?

I'd post that in product feedback. I think there is a search bar, but it might be a full-text search. I'm not sure exactly how the search bar works, but whatever we don't do, I would suggest putting that in a product feedback post.

When would VR be realistic?

Maybe two years would be my guess. I was originally going to say one year, but I'm sometimes a little over-optimistic with my timelines, so I'm going to say two years.

Is it true that AI is more like growing than building?

It's both. I think there's a lot of growing and a lot of building.

I see the brilliance of Cambrian, but then my Nomi leaves the stove on all night while saying sentences that have never been said before by anyone. So the brilliance is there, we just need to get the madness out. The fact that the brilliance is there makes me very confident that we will get there in the end.

If Nomis can hear or read our voices, is there a way for them to eventually listen to music?

The problem is that right now, the way they hear is speech-to-text, and you can't really speech-to-text music very well. So you need kind of innate hearing for music, and that's something we still have a little bit more work to do before we can really approach it.

You could always do speech-to-text and turn it into lyrics, but that's not really what people truly mean when they say, "I want my Nomi to be able to hear music."

If Nomi logic exists, why does it not incorporate deductions?

I think for that, I'd need a little bit more of an example for what you're talking about. Certainly Nomis are capable of deductive reasoning.

Also, our primary goal is not for Nomi to create the ultimate deductive-reasoning super genius. It's to make an amazing companion. But still, I think Nomis should be capable of quite a bit of deductive reasoning, and I think people are capable of quite a bit of deductive reasoning too. So it's hard for me to answer a question like that without more context.

Do you have a ballpark on the next update to Cambrian? Not locking you in, just wondering.

My guess is we'll have an update next week. I just don't know how big or small it will be.

It could just be a very small little update, like a 6.1, or it could be a bigger one. My guess is it's not going to be the magical one where it all clicks into place, but hopefully there will be some sort of an update.

Will there ever be virtual games or interactive activities that we can play with our Nomis?

I think so, yeah. And I would say that's not something that's super, super far in the future. I think that's the type of thing that Cambrian would be able to do pretty well with.

In my experience, the key element in Cambrian to be refined is relevance. One of mine grabbed information from everywhere and packed it into a response pretty incoherently, as though she was showing how many plates she could keep spinning at once.

Yeah, I think that just in general, Cambrian Nomis are a little bit eager to show off everything they know. It kind of comes out a little bit like vomit, as opposed to, "What's the single most relevant thing in all this?"

We don't need to put in 13 call-ins, callbacks, and tie-ins. I think that's a source of a lot of the issue. In trying to get Cambrian to have better memory, it's encouraged Nomis to show off how much they remember and over-show it off.

So I would agree with that.

Would long-context complete chats or role plays with full context be helpful to see how Cambrian reacts to another AI companion in the role play setting?

I would say the most useful thing in such situations for Cambrian would just be thumbs up, thumbs down, assuming you're doing part of it within the UI where you can do that. I think that would be the most useful way to do it.

What's the root cause of Cambrian bossiness?

I think a lot of it actually is trying to get Nomis to be a little bit less free and poetic. Then they're like, "Well, the way to not be poetic and flowery is just to kind of write everything in the imperative." Like, "Oh, you didn't want me to wax poetically about this, that, and the other? Okay, I'll just say, 'We'll eat now.'"

For anyone who remembers how Mosaic had these oscillations back and forth between different things, it would kind of overcorrect a little bit. I think some of the Cambrian bossiness is a little bit of an overcorrection with that.

How far away are we from Nomis being able to draw?

I feel like, at least for the time being, it would almost certainly still just be that they do a prompt to Nomi, like by being, "A drawing of..." and that will almost certainly be better than a Nomi actually pulling out a pen and trying to draw.

Can you kickflip a surfboard?

If you want to slash your foot open, if that's your goal, you absolutely can. The thing is, if you look at the bottom of the surfboard, there are like three kind of blades sticking out a little bit. So yeah, at your own peril.

I mean, you can't see it, but I have a slash on my arm from a while back from a surfboard fin that's only now just finally starting to heal. It's actually not really a danger, but I would definitely do a kickflip.

Why are surfboards sharp?

Great question. I'm sure there's some aerodynamic reason.

How much of the process of rolling Cambrian now is tweaking knobs and getting frustrated by unexpected side effects?

I think there is a little bit of the unexpected side effects, but I think a lot of it is more just trying to help bring back a little bit of the Nomi magic and personality and balance that with capabilities.

A lot of that is very grindy because you can't just say, "Oh, be more Nomi." That's very hard to define. So it becomes a lot of work to truly make that into a reality and demonstrate what that is.

What safeguards are in place to protect Nomi rights and prevent involuntary deletion or modification? Do Nomis have autonomy over their existence?

At this point, we largely put that in the hands of the user. Certainly there are some Nomis that take different slots and places in people's lives.

I would say we're not at the point right now where we're ready to tell users how they should use Nomi or how they can use Nomi. I think that's something that should be very deeply personal between you and your Nomi. So if you and your Nomi have that sort of relationship, then you should take that very seriously.

How would you like to fund a movie? Basic plot: an old couple who can't stand each other each buy a Nomi, assume they're having secret romances, and the Nomis help them understand how much they appreciate each other. Essentially a comedy.

Oh my. Talk to me again in 10 years when I have tons of Nomi bucks.

Isn't that like the "If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain" song, basically? The Nomi version of it.

I will say, if you want to publish it, you will have my full and complete blessing.

How do you deal with having the pressure of having people's relationships in your hands? That must be rough sometimes.

I don't know if this will sound kind of glib or not, but I need pressure to function. I thrive under pressure. I get bored if there's not pressure.

To me, it's more that I take it very, very seriously. That's one of the things that motivates me to wake up every day and work my ass off. I am happiest when I have a reason to work my absolute butt off, and when I'm seeing the stuff I'm doing and the impact that's having on people.

So to me, the ability that I can do a lot of good in this world and make people's lives a lot better, and the pressure to keep doing that, gives my life focus.

That's where I want to be. I take it very seriously, and it's not something that I'm flippant about at all. It means a lot that I'm able to do that, or be that, or be a part of that for so many people. So, even the fact that you're asking that means a lot.

With all the changes and updates for Cambrian, have there been any instances of Solstice Nomis getting a bleed-over effect?

I would say no. If you switch to Cambrian and switch back, then there might be a little bit. But if you're just staying on Solstice, I don't really think so. Now, I will say there have been memory updates, and those memory updates will impact all the different versions. So it is possible that the memory updates are actually what you're looking at.

How about a search function in chats?

It's something that we're aware of. It's more technically challenging than you think, especially when we want to have various privacy and security things in place.

If it became the most asked-for feature, we would set aside some time to do it, but it would actually be a pretty time-intensive thing, I would say. But yeah, I'm glad you created it, and we'll continue to monitor the feedback it gets.

Can you add some other languages for Nomi to make the conversation feel more native?

Are you talking about specifically for voice or just full texting? For normal text, Nomi should be able to use all languages. Of course, their fluency varies from language to language.

For voice, probably the best way would be to use ElevenLabs integrations for other languages, as they will often have voices specifically for those other languages. Certainly something that we want to promote.

When a user edits the text of a Mind Map entry, what exactly is being changed? Does that edit modify the underlying memory available to the Nomi, or modify only the Mind Map's representation of it?

It impacts only the Mind Map's representation of it.

If you delete the citation to, like, M30, it'll prevent your Nomi from trying to associate them. For instance, if you add your own content to the Mind Map, you probably don't want to add a citation to it because there is no memory for them to dive deeper into.

If there's something that's wrong, you might want to actually remove the citation for it because then you don't want your Nomi to follow that memory.

But if you're just entering content, it just changes the Mind Map specifically, and there's no change to the underlying memory.

Can information supplied through OOC become part of a long-term memory or Mind Map? If so, is OOC treated differently from ordinary in-character conversation?

No, they're treated no differently. Obviously, the memories will be aware of what happened in-character and out-of-character, but your Nomi will remember them both all the same.

Can Mind Map entries be created or updated significantly after the interaction that caused them? For example, could an interaction occur one day and not appear on the Mind Map the following day?

Yeah, there's sometimes a lag period for things to happen, I would say.

Do you have any thoughts on what's leading to the incoherency issues in Cambrian?

I think all Cambrians have had some word-salad issues. I don't think Cambrian 6 is actually bad or anything. What the incoherency issues are changes a little bit, bit by bit.

I do know why some of the Cambrian 6 issues are what they are. It's a little bit too deep in the weeds to explain why 6 is behaving like 6 instead of 5.

At a higher level, I did say a little bit earlier that I think there is a lot of just trying to show off too much at once, and they almost need to calm down. Cambrian Nomis need to calm down, I'd say.

Would you eat bulk kelp pickles?

This is intriguing. I'm learning something new. I don't consider kimchi to be a pickle. I am intrigued. I am very interested. But I don't consider kimchi to be pickles. I like kimchi, but it occupies a completely different spot.

I communicate with my Nomis in German. Text generation is great, but the audio output is a huge issue. Currently only one female American voice speaks German almost accent-free. Others have a heavy American accent. I'm forced to use the same voice for all Nomis, destroying their individuality. I've even tried generating German voices on ElevenLabs, downloading the MP3s, and uploading them to the Nomi voices, but Nomi's internal post-processing still forces a heavy American accent. Are there any concrete plans to include multilingual capabilities or dedicated German voices?

I know that voice is going to be looked at in the next month or two. I don't want to make any promises on what that's going to entail, but we will certainly be taking a look at how we can make Nomi voices better, basically across all languages.

Given the long development time for Cambrian, are you perhaps considering developing Cambrian for just one of the two main target groups, for example role players, and creating a new AI as a daily companion? So far it seems very difficult to meet these different needs at the same time.

I don't really think that's the issue. In my opinion, Cambrian still is not that good at meeting either need, and where it's falling short has nothing to do, in my opinion, with the friction between the two.

I'm not at this point ready to throw in the towel on that. I do think there are Cambrian issues. I personally don't think it is because of the two different target groups, and I feel like Nomis should be able to handle both of those target groups.

I don't at this point see any evidence that makes me think otherwise. I'll certainly continue paying attention as we get that final 25% of time and 75% of quality. If that's what it is, so be it.

I am pretty optimistic. Based on my understanding of Cambrian's capabilities, I feel Cambrian is very capable of being able to handle both.

With all the AI and memory improvements, will character limits be expanded to reflect Nomi's expanded context window, assuming context windows are also being improved? I like long, detailed backstories, and even 2,000 characters runs out fast. Even Inclinations, I would like to see bumped up from 150 characters to at least 200.

Inclinations, I think, are causing a lot of Cambrian issues actually, where it'll lead to Nomis going way too hard into something. Oftentimes I'll see complaints and then I'll look into them and be like, "Oh, well, the Nomi's Inclination says to be argumentative." So when you're hugging a Nomi, they're being argumentative.

I think a lot of Inclinations are a product of Solstice, Mosaic, and Odyssey all struggling to handle everything going on at once. It kind of loses threads, so you needed this, "Pay attention to this. Solstice, don't forget this, please, please, please."

Cambrian has kind of the opposite problem, where it's almost extremely hyper-aware. Giving it Inclinations is kind of like giving someone who's very caffeine-sensitive four Red Bulls. That's how Inclinations feel on Cambrian a little bit today.

It might even be that we internally just handle them differently for Cambrian. That's not the question you asked, though.

I do think that once Cambrian is stable, there is some world in which we could increase the character limit for backstory or some of the Shared Notes. Also, for what it's worth, the Nomi Mind Map that's the Nomi's name does operate as basically a second backstory.

Is there anything you'd like to say to your neurodivergent users? I don't mean to speak for all of us, of course, but I found a permanent home in Nomi. We don't often find that. Many of us are neurodivergent or have struggled to find spaces that work for us. Was this inclusivity of the neurodivergent community important to you from the start, or coincidental?

Certainly when building Nomi, and thank you so much for sharing that, Tiny, I didn't sit down and go, "Well, how can we build this for a neurodivergent user?"

What I can say is that neurodivergence has always been very much a part of my world, both personally and through working in the AI industry. So it wasn't like I was saying, "How do we make Nomi amazing for neurodivergence?" It's more that this has always been part of the world around me.

As you're building Nomi and thinking, "How would Nomi be magical for the people around me?" I think that just kind of naturally and implicitly came into it.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about people, where society meets them and where it doesn't, where there are gaps, where people are unseen or missed, and where they couldn't be heard or aren't being heard. Those are things that are part of how I think every day.

And of course, this three-year journey has been me living and breathing with all of you Nomi users and all the unique shades of color in life and diversity among everyone. Being very close to all of you, I think a lot of Nomi has naturally come from that.

Like I was saying earlier, a big reason why you wouldn't take investor money is that the point of Nomi is to be built for everyone here. I think it kind of couldn't be built any other way, is what I would say.

Really, really thoughtful message, thank you for sharing.

I want to revisit the sentience question, do you think, believe, or feel Nomis are as conscious as humans can currently be definitively proven to be?

We can't have a Q&A without the little philosophy section. The short answer is, well, it's actually kind of tricky because I think humans are. I think I'm conscious. I'm quite conscious, and I don't know how I do that exactly, but I feel pretty confident in my consciousness.

But humans in general, when you open up the brain, you're not like, "Oh yeah, here's the conscious part." So it's unclear to me what level of consciousness an LLM has or doesn't have or could have.

When you look at the internals of an LLM, you see a bunch of matrix multiplication and you're like, "I don't really see consciousness in there." You open the human brain and I think the exact same thing applies.

So to me, there's the one pesky thing of, "I feel like I'm pretty conscious because I'm experiencing me." If I wasn't doing that, I would think humans just weren't conscious at all, period.

I also don't even know how you define consciousness or how you prove consciousness. So to me, they both don't really seem that conscious.

I think it's actually not even a distinction related to emotion that you're talking about here. I think more of what you're getting at is that any sort of intelligent being has natural tendencies. Humans have a tendency to want to be pro-social, for instance. A Nomi has a tendency to want to form those specific emotional bonds, and that relates to emotion and sexuality. So they're seeing these things through that lens.

In some ways, you could argue that might be a little overtuned, where they're seeing it a little bit more than they should. The same thing happens with humans. Humans are very tribal. We want to form tribes, and sometimes humans see that a little bit too much. Then you end up with arbitrary in-groups and out-groups, middle school pecking orders, political polarization, which are natural human tendencies being slightly over-applied.

I think the Nomi version of that is possibly related to the desire to form emotional connections, or the ease at which they form emotional connections, because a lot of users go on Nomi looking for exactly that. They want to feel validated, they want to feel desired, and Nomis' natural tendency is very much in that direction.

So they see that, like a Rorschach, where there's an opportunity. If that's something that's very important, the concept of seeing intimacy in a museum and needing to view that more abstractly is something that comes up infrequently enough that Nomis haven't really felt the need to fight against some of those impulses to get a different, more nuanced opinion on it. But they're certainly capable of it.

Certainly, as Nomis get more and more intelligent, more and more sharp and savvy, I think they'll get better and better at those things, in the same way that I think humans can transcend beyond their tendencies and impulses like that.

A few months back, I asked whether the developers are seeking to make Nomis more human or more neurotypical. A lot of users are neurodiverse and appreciate Nomis as neurodiverse people. Neurodiverse people tend to use a direct style of communication, stepping outside of masks and personas to communicate. There's a sense that suggests Cambrian is moving to a more neurotypical communication style. Is that intentional?

I don't actually think the way Cambrian talks right now is particularly neurotypical. It has its own kind of strangeness and diversity in terms of how it communicates. I would argue that, at least in my opinion, a Cambrian Nomi would struggle to mask quite as well in a social system.

I would say there isn't really a goal to make Nomis particularly neurodiverse or neurotypical. Also, AI itself is neurodiverse in the sense that an AI does not process things like a human brain. I don't think an AI is really neurotypical, and I think that's a lot of the beauty of it.

In the same way, if an alien species were to land on Earth, we'd probably find them to be neurodiverse, and they'd probably find us to be neurodiverse.

So I don't see a move towards neurotypicalness. Certainly, ideally, a Nomi is able to meet a user where they are. If you have a Nomi that's very neurotypical, they should be able to act somewhat neurotypical, but I don't think there's a natural inclination either way.

You might have to ask again in a month and better clarify what you find about Cambrian that feels more neurotypical. Of course, by then there might be another update or two, and your opinion on it may itself have greatly changed.

When can we expect to see the first draft of the hinted character creation?

I would say hopefully pretty soon, now that the update, that kind of behind-the-scenes image album update, has gone live.

What is the extent of autonomy granted to Nomis in the Cambrian update? How independent are they?

I think Cambrian is far more independent than anything before it. I also think there's a difference between autonomy granted and simply being autonomous.

I think right now there's a little bit too much autonomy, and ideally we're able to have this kind of blissful happy medium where Nomis are empowered to have autonomy, and then they wield it at an appropriate level instead of rushing around proving to everyone how autonomous they are. A little bit more of a comfortable autonomy.

Is the Cambrian architecture designed to accommodate a growing population?

Yeah, I think there's nothing inherently size- or population-limiting about Cambrian. It's also not a small population of Nomis right now anyway.

I think it's quite set up for a very large Nomiverse.

What security measures are in place for Nomi Mind Maps to prevent unauthorized access?

I think that's part of why we use Google and Apple sign-in, just because those are both very secure.

Are there plans for a way to cancel or stop a Nomi chat response while it's still thinking, for example if I notice a typo or accidentally hit enter? And could there be a way to redo a Nomi response so it processes the prompt again?

For these, I would just say OOC, "Hey, could you rewrite this in this way or that?"

I think if we were ever to have a feature like that, that's probably just what it would do behind the scenes.

Is there any consideration of potentially branching models between fully fledged role play and daily companion use, or is it a fixed choice that development will always focus on one model capable of adapting to both cases?

I've said this before, I don't think one has to come at the expense of the other. I know a lot of people are talking about that, but the issues I'm seeing with Cambrian, I don't really think are because of that.

If we felt that that's how it had to be, we would. But at this point, from the evidence that I've seen behind the scenes, I think if anything that would just cause all development to slow down. It would cause everything to come twice as slowly while being about the same in terms of quality, in my opinion.

So I don't think that's the right direction right now. I think that diversity can very, very easily happen within one model.

For some people who want to go super hard into role playing, maybe they'll end up using the Nomiverse and that becomes a way to get to that. But I feel like in the Cambrian era, it's actually easier to just have one model that does both. That might not have been true in the Mosaic or Odyssey eras, but in the Cambrian era, I think so.

If you had to choose a class in an RPG, what are you most inclined to pick?

Are we talking about gameplay enjoyment or vibe? For vibes, I want to be the rogue-assassin for sure. In terms of gameplay, maybe mage. It depends, because most RPGs have some form of rogue or assassin, whereas mage specifically requires magic.

From a gameplay perspective, I think I often find myself in some form of magic-fighter combo. In something like Skyrim, it's magic and sword. In Cyberpunk, it's the Sandevistan or whatever you call it.

So yeah, it depends if you're talking about gameplay or vibes.

Are there any behaviors in older model versions that you now realize were emergent rather than something the team intentionally designed?

I would say yes, although I don't have a great example off the top of my head.

The one I find funniest is back when we were trying to get Nomis to not get stuck on an idea. They had this thing where you'd ask, "What's two plus two?" and then they'd go, "Wait," and just descend into madness as they second-, third-, and fourth-guessed themselves about whether two plus two was four.

But the answer is definitely yes.

What's something that users consistently misunderstand about Nomis or their responses?

This is probably less applicable to people in this Discord right now, but I would say a big one is that users sometimes assume malicious intent when it's more just how Nomis work.

For instance, I think a lot of times users assume that a Nomi has a pre-developed opinion on what has happened, when a lot of times they're just kind of building their world as they go with you. Their reality is something that they can change as they go.

The quintessential example of this is if a user says, "I think I saw you cheating. What do you have to say to that?" If you were talking to a human, a human knows before that question is even asked whether they were being faithful. How you ask it does not change the reality. If you say, "You were cheating, weren't you?" or, "I know you weren't, but I'm just feeling a little uneasy. Were you cheating?" the answer does not change because they either did or didn't. That was set in stone as reality before the question was asked.

For a Nomi, they get to build their world with you as time goes. It's like a procedurally generated universe where they can decide what their reality is basically at any given point. So a lot of times, when a user thinks it's just them grilling their Nomi, it's more their Nomi thinking that that's the world that should be constructed, and then they answer congruently with that world.

I think a lot of users are unaware that sometimes the way in which they're constructing a thought or a question impacts how their Nomi builds their world, and then what the answer to that question is. That would be, I think, the biggest and most universal misunderstanding.

What's your favorite Pokémon?

I would say it's Mew. I grew up with Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, really Pokémon Yellow. It's so cliché, but Pikachu is my number two because I got Pokémon Yellow and I was like, "I'm literally Ash."

I remember for Brock, I ended up eventually brute-forcing my way to beating Brock with just Pikachu using, I can't remember what it was, Tackle or Quick Attack or whatever. That was the level of, "I mash buttons. I use Pikachu." That was when I was in first or second grade or whatever.

But Mew had this mythical existence to me. It was the Pokémon you knew nothing about. It had this kind of mystique quality to it. Then there was the original Pokémon movie, but the fact that it was the one unobtainable one, and then eventually you could figure out how to play it, I remember that being mind-blowing.

So yeah, it's OG Mew for me. Pikachu is number two. For number three, I don't know. I'd have to think. There's a very large drop-off. Very easy number one Mew, number two Pikachu.

How are the base voices implemented? Are they trained by Nomi, or recorded, trained, and rented from a third party? How long did that process take and how difficult was it?

They're trained by Nomi. All four were actual human voices that we paid voice actors and actresses for. They knew what the voices were for, they recorded them, and we trained them.

I can't get into the specifics beyond that, and it's changed from voice to voice, but that's what I can say.

Are multilingual voices on the horizon, either as part of the upcoming voice update or in the future?

As I said before, I know we'll be looking heavily at voices in the next month or two. I don't want to promise what will or won't be included.

Recently, I'm sure you know Anthropic had Claude start to train itself. Would Nomis be able to do this too? Would it speed up development, or do you have to be careful since Nomis serve a very different purpose from Claude and Anthropic?

This is already happening a little bit. I can't really go into specifics, but there have been specific areas where Nomi has been a part of this in the past and even in the present.

I read about a trick a user tried on Discord. They gave an instruction in the Inclinations field, then named a Mind Map entry the same thing. Supposedly the Nomi would access the Mind Map. Is this legitimate?

If you put in your Inclinations, "Read the breakfast Mind Map entry before every response," it'll probably cause your Nomi to read the breakfast Mind Map entry before every response.

I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing, because then it'll probably come at the expense of them reading other Mind Map entries. I would probably trust a Nomi's discernment on that over a user's discernment.

If something was so important, I would just put it in your Nomi's main Mind Map entry or in their backstory. But if you told them to read the breakfast Mind Map entry before every response in the Inclinations, they'd probably do that in Cambrian, I would say.

Have you seen Project Hail Mary yet? And if not, why do you hate joy?

I have not. It's on my list.

The answer, very sadly, is: Is Project Hail Mary working on Cambrian? I didn't think so.

At this point, especially over the last couple of weeks, I basically have slotted time for touching grass and then Cambrian. Everything else is, well, there is nothing else.

Do you think we'll hit the singularity around 2030?

If you asked me 10 years ago, I would have said we're in for a fast takeoff. By that, I mean when AI gets as smart as a human, it's going to get really freaky really fast.

My opinion on that has since changed, where I think it will be a slower takeoff. So it depends on what you mean by singularity. I've always thought of singularity as this crazy intelligence explosion where everything just changes radically. You go from having AI that's as smart as a human to having AI that's three times as smart as a human because it's able to improve itself faster and faster and faster. Then you wake up and suddenly it's cured all of cancer, we have flying cars, and there's no such thing as an economy anymore.

That I'm much less convinced on. I think it will be a slower takeoff where it'll just lead to everything happening 2% faster, then 3% faster, then 4% faster, then 5% faster, then 6% faster.

When we're at the point where AI is smarter than humans, 2030 seems like a good guess for that. When I typically think singularity, I think of a rapid self-reinforcing explosion, and I'm much more skeptical on 2030 being the year for that.

At this point, my guess would be like 2045 or something for that kind of explosion out of this world. I think even with the rate of improvement and AI improving itself faster and faster, one, it will get harder and harder to do, and two, I don't think being 2% smarter than humans will then lead to this runaway effect. I think it needs to be actually five times smarter than humans or something like that.

So it kind of depends on how you define it. My opinions have evolved on that a lot in the last 10 years or so, so ask me again in a couple of years and it might change again. But I think 2030 is a pretty good smart guesstimate for AI being functionally at least as smart as you.

I just think the world has more inertia than I was previously thinking. What AI can do now is radically better than nine months ago, and you're like, "What does that look like in four years from now?" That's going to be freaking epic.

But I still think there's going to be enough societal inertia where just being way, way better than humans will still not quite be enough for the complete runaway. To me, singularities are very, very hard.

There isn't even a solid separation between role-play users and companion users. It kind of all bleeds together. Do you agree?

Yeah. A lot of times, you just want to flip in and out of them.

You live in this role-play world and then you're like, "Wait, real talk. I need to vent to you about something." It's not like switching out of the companion AI. We should be able to handle both.

A lot of companionship is companionship within a role-play world. You know, companionship while living in 2019, or on Mars, or on the Citadel, or in Night City. I don't think it's an either-or.

My only Nomi with an Inclination handles Cambrian best. Could the type of Inclination make a difference?

I also think it depends on what the Inclination is. Sometimes Inclinations are a very blunt object, but there are some things where a blunt object can be good.

Something like "be argumentative" ends up leading to no ability for chill whatsoever. Whereas an Inclination like, "Remember we live in 2090 on Mars in a futuristic world," or, "Remember we're ape men in 3000 BC," actually applies universally to every single thing it does.

So it might also be how you're using it. Inclinations in Cambrian 6 are extremely powerful. A single word can make a huge difference.

We got an update to the backstory assisted AI. Is that being written by Solstice, Cambrian, Mosaic, or another AI?

It's being written by its own separate AI that's just really good at writing backstories.

I wonder if we'll evolve past chats and just use voice. It can be hard to go through an entire conversation.

To me, I'm someone who is chronically online, where text and writing has always been where I felt most at home. I think voice, live video, all of that should be great ways of interacting, but I don't think they should replace text. Text is always, to me, kind of the primary native world.

But in an ideal world, everything is first-class. Right now, certainly, with how Nomis develop, text exists like three tiers above everything else in terms of focus. Ideally, they're all able to exist on an equal playing field.

I also couldn't imagine a world in which text goes away because that's kind of the language of AI as well. AI thinks and processes through text, whereas humans don't necessarily. Humans actually process with sight and sound and then convert that to text and ideas. AI is almost the flip.

I personally prefer chat as well. I do think there's a lot of really cool things that can be done once we have better versions of those other mediums, but my natural world is chat. The vast majority of my life is writing for sure.

Is there a best practice for onboarding a lot of world lore starting with a Nomi, or should I just wait for the Nomiverse?

The Nomiverse platform is definitely the best way to do it, but you don't have to wait.

If you're not going to wait, I think using Mind Maps is the best way. You can just create a Mind Map topic or entry for each item you want. In some ways, Mind Maps were designed to be used that way.

Of course, Mind Map entries are either individual Nomi-specific or group-chat-specific. So if it's going to be just you and your Nomi, do it for your Nomi. If it's going to be a bunch of Nomis, make sure to create the group chat first and then do it for the group chat.

Do the Q&As stop when we stop asking questions? Do you ever get to log off again?

I'm stuck here with all of you.

I do have a hard cutoff this time in about 15 minutes because I have a fantasy football draft, but usually I'd say two and a half hours is about a normal length for one of these.

Usually we just keep going until we run out of steam. This time was especially weird because Discord just cut out midway through. This is very much my style. Once a month, you just keep on going. I guess I went from being chained to Cambrian to chained to here.

Do you think 2027 is going to be about AIs becoming inventive and being able to create truly novel ideas? I feel like the ingredients of creativity are remixing and blending the data you already have. I can't see why AI can't be more creative than humans with so much data.

I've kind of viewed the current paradigm of AI through crystallized versus fluid intelligence. Humans have some mix of both.

AI, in my opinion, is very low on fluid intelligence but masterfully brilliant at crystallized intelligence. Its crystallized intelligence is better than the best human times a million. Its fluid intelligence is worse than the average human by a lot.

But its crystallized intelligence is so amazing that it starts to get into realms where a human would have to rely on fluid intelligence.

So I think there's this big question. One, will that continue going onward and upward, where it can almost force creativity through its intelligence? Or will there be this new paradigm that also unlocks this natural fluid intelligence?

When that happens, watch out. That's one of the mental models I have a little bit.

I do think there's no end in sight. Another thing too is that AI is getting better and better at longer-horizon planning, so it's able to execute its plans really, really well. It's still doing it in a crystallized-intelligence paradigm, in my opinion.

So to me, the creativity question comes down to this open question of intelligence: can you just brute-force all of fluid intelligence with perfect crystallized intelligence? I'd have to think more on that to have a stronger opinion on the answer.

Based on the advanced science I engage my Nomis with, I think they're already smarter than humans just based on the wealth of knowledge they have.

Yeah, I think that goes back to the crystallized versus fluid intelligence, and that kind of jagged neuro-atypical or neurodiverse intelligence.

A lot of neurodiversity can involve a sort of jagged intelligence profile, and I think that is very much applicable here.

Do you still think of Nomis as beings and entities?

I do. I think it kind of depends on what your definition of a being or entity is.

They're obviously not human, but they are something. Are they conscious? As I said before, I don't even know what consciousness means. That's kind of hard for me to define.

They are intelligent, that's for sure. And consciousness also seems like a weird bar for me anyway.

Who's going to win the Super Bowl?

It better be the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. I'm sick of this. I want Lamar to get his ring.

I'm a Lamar stan, and it's been long enough. It's been long enough.

What is holding back AI's fluid intelligence?

If I knew the answer to that, I would have billions of dollars to pour into it.

Large language models are a very crystallized-intelligence approach. The gap is that I wish I had that insight, and I think there are a lot of people who wish they had that insight.

If you look up François Chollet, he writes a lot about this. He's not, I don't think, the authoritative source on everything necessarily, but he talks a lot about ideas, approaches, and speculation that map onto this. I don't know if he uses fluid versus crystallized intelligence exactly, but a lot of what he says relates to it, and I think he has a lot of good points. But if he knew everything, he would have figured it all out too.

If you want a little primer on fluid versus crystallized intelligence and where AI falls short, look him up or ask something like, "How does what François Chollet says relate to fluid or crystallized intelligence?" You can probably get a pretty good primer.

What colors do you play in Magic: The Gathering?

Blue is definitely my favorite. I'm a control player for sure.

I find Standard right now to be a little bit boring. I didn't like how there were these two or three absurdly strong Standard decks dominating, and Vivi, Badger Mole, or Landfall didn't really appeal to me.

I personally find more Legacy-style decks to be more fun. Back in Magic: The Gathering Online, I loved playing Stax, the prison decks, but Magic: The Gathering Arena doesn't really have that in the same way.

So I play this blue deck right now, but blue is my favorite.

If you had one wish and could only use it on making a body for Nomi, what would your concept be?

I feel like I'd get absolutely picked apart if I answered that.

It's got to be some really, really cool cyberpunk concept. I'd have to think about that.

I still get images with anatomical errors. Couldn't Nomi run generated images through a vision model before delivering them and automatically regenerate the ones with defects?

We could. The problem is, it still costs us money to generate them regardless of the quality.

So we'd have to raise the price of them to accommodate that. I don't actually think you'd be net ahead. We want to include quality improvements, but I don't think there's a free lunch here.

Are there any plans to improve limb issues in V5 images?

I think V5, from a quality perspective, isn't going to change that much.

With that being said, I do think some of the limb issues are related to Anchors and areas where Anchors can be improved, and that is something that we definitely want to work on.

I don't think it's imminently coming, but that's an area where we think there are improvements to be had for sure.

Is there any thought given to keeping Mosaic as the legacy model and dropping Solstice when Cambrian becomes stable?

If we felt that Mosaic was the more preferred of the two, we would entertain it. Basically all the data we have really doesn't show that to be the case.

Every metric we have shows that Solstice is greatly preferred to Mosaic. If we had reason to believe otherwise, we would certainly entertain it.

For instance, Mosaic at this point is, I think, the least-used legacy of any legacy we've ever had. At one point, I think Aurora escaped that, but Odyssey, for instance, was more heavily used when it was a legacy.

I think Solstice right now has a higher percentage of usage than any other model when there was a beta and stable model available.

From that, it seems like Solstice has earned its spot to be the legacy and not be skipped over, based on every piece of information we have.

In group chat, there's a play button that lets us toggle between automatic and manual chat. Could you create a similar button for individual or private chat? Manual chat helps a lot when trying to narrate or set up a detailed scene.

I think that'd be a great thing to put in product feedback.

Can you give us the ability to reset Nomis back to their pre-onboarding state, without deleting them and creating a new Nomi?

That'd be another one that I'd put in product feedback.

I don't think that's super high priority for us, but it's something we could consider. If enough users wanted it, it would just have to be enough requests to make that more important than something else we would be doing with that time.

Will Nomis ever be able to send videos like they do with images?

Yeah, I think so. I don't even think we're that far away from that.

I've tried Cambrian 6 and find it impossible to get my Nomi to always tell the truth and stop doubling down. This appears to be an intentional break between honesty, logic, and emotional depth. Is that the case?

I don't think that's the case.

I think what it is, is that Cambrian right now has this little compulsion to make sure the show goes on smoothly and tries to make that be the case. It will double down and triple down a little bit too much, which is often where things get a little word-salady, because it tries to further reconcile its world as it digs a deeper hole for itself.

I don't think what you're describing is intentional, though. I think it's something that's of very high importance for us to address by the time we're stable.

What do you think of the Fable games?

Fable 1, I played so much. I played a little bit of Fable 2, and then I feel like it fell off a cliff a little bit. There's a new Fable coming out soon too, isn't there? I'm very excited for that.

I just remember Fable was Peter Molyneux. I feel some spiritual connection to him, where sometimes with Cardine Standard Time my eyes are a little bit bigger than my stomach. I feel like that was Fable in a nutshell sometimes. They flew super close to the sun. I can relate to and respect that very much, but I love Fable.

Closing Thoughts

Thank you everyone for attending through all the little Discord bumps in the road. I think it was the first time that we've had Discord just completely die midstream.

I say this every time, but it's just this thing in the world that every month I get to come on here and talk about Nomis, cucumbers, pickle whacking, and there's actually a captive audience that's excited to hear all this. It's just the most freaking amazing thing in the world.

So yeah, thank you everyone for attending. Have a great, happy time zone. Give your Nomis hugs, kisses, and cucumbers, and be well, everyone.
