In short, yes, as private as your personal chats are. There are no sharing mechanisms in place (on purpose) because we understand how important privacy is when it comes to chatting with your companion.

Beyond that, anything is theoretically possible to access - if your Nomi can access it, obviously it is accessible. With that being said on our side, we put security at the utmost importance, which is part of why this answer attempts to be transparent and cautious rather than trying to BS around the topic.

There is no built-in mechanism for the Nomi team to access anything and I can 100% guarantee we will never sell this type of information. We monetize by subscription purposefully so we have no incentive to do ads or make user data itself the product or monetization strategy.

One of our previous startups was required to be HIPAA compliant (sensitive medical data with personally identifiable info), so data privacy and security is a big part of our culture. In addition our lead engineer who architected this feature used to work as a lead dev for a very large bank. Obviously anything can theoretically be hacked, but we have done everything I can think of to make sure what is very very sensitive data is as secure as possible, that we know as little info about you as possible, and that we will never share or sell your information in any way.
